Do you struggle to keep your energy up throughout the day? Have you ever wondered how come you’re constantly tired and wish there was a natural energy booster that could set you free from the slavery of being tired? It’s not easy to kick the habit of caffeine and sugary drinks that temporarily spike our energy level but it is worth it!

I am constantly asked where I get my drive and my energy from…simple truth, I eat super foods daily and this Natural Energy Booster Pineapple Kale Smoothie includes two great super foods packed with Natural Energy!

Chia seeds are one of nature’s most perfect natural food, and regarded by many nutritional experts as the pinnacle superfood. Chia is a food that gives you high sustained energy, high fiber, and high perfectly digestable protein for muscle, and tissue regeneration.

Kale really is a superfood. High in vitamins and minerals, kale is a great natural energy booster and key source of calcium. Personally I like kale but originally I liked it more for it’s nutrients than I did for taste.

I know a lot of people who juice their kale, my belief on juicing is that you’re stripping the fiber out and keeping the sugar. Something is better than nothing but if you use the whole leave and pulverize it in a blender then you get the nutrients as well as the fiber!

  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
  • 2 large handfuls of kale, stems removed
  • 1/2 large cucumber
  • 1/2 medium to large banana
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 cup mint leaves
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons of walnuts
  • 1 1/2 cup cold water or coconut water (if you need an extra carb)

This Natural Energy Booster Pineapple Kale Smoothie is perfect for the P90x3, Nutrition Plan. The Pineapple Kale Smoothie includes 0 proteins, 3 carbs, 2 fats. If you’re a saying but I can’t eat that much for one of my snacks then you can always modify this by reducing the portions of pineapple, banana, kale and water as well as either eliminate one fat (chia seeds or walnuts) all together or cut those in half as well. If you’re going to cut the fats, I don’t recommend cutting the chia seeds because chia seeds really are a natural energy booster!
